Thanks Michael - how would I solve that as a problem? The fields aren't going to be unique, but that's to be expected an doesn't seem unreasonable - I would still expect to be able to do it in Qlik.

Hi there,

I have enabled AND-Mode on one of my list boxes but it refuses to play nice. Every time I select two it flicks over, forgetting the previous selection.

I've attached a very tiny example: long story short, I'd like to select IDs that are Christian AND Vegetarian, for example.

Any ideas?

Thanks very much,

Alex

It is about the data. There is no a single ID which is Christian and Vegetarian. In fact, each ID has one and only one value in the Split_Desc (AND field)

Hi,

I think you cannot use And-Mode with your data (at least not with the sample data attached to this post). The problem is that you need that a single person/record has to be able to be assigned with more than one value of "U_Classifier_Split_Desc", so you can make selections like "Christian and Vegetarian".

In other words your and-mode example doesn't work because every record is a mutually exclusive event, so there's no way of selecting 2 values in Split_Desc and getting a result,

regards
