Input Box Problem.Need Urgent Reply Plz

HI All

i have a problem ..what i want is .i have taken an input box .I want to enter a text value or numeric value in to

the input box,After entering the value in the input box ,a button must be click on which the macors must runs

and move that value to list box and saves it..Please provide also the macro coding .....Any solution will be

very helpful to meee......Thank you soo muchh

There are probably multiple ways to accomplish this.

If you're using QlikView 9, you should look into Dynamic Data Update. This is a new feature, which should allow you to add values to your fields from within the app. I haven't had a chance to get into it, so I don't know all of the details.

Another way is to update a data source from within the application and do an immediate reload on the data. I had a post a while back on this board that explained how to do it using Excel. I have also seen some examples of how to do it directly on a SQL table.
