exporting to excel opens Notepad

hi,

when i right click and select export to excel i gte instead notepad with the data inside it

i do have excel installed and if i save the notepad file and open it in excfel i can it it to work so i dont know why it does it

i also check the file assosiastions and dblClik on an xls file opens excel

Could this be related?

Can you try exporting just a small amount of data?

I just tried sending a 200 000+ table from QlikView and it ended up as a CSV for me.

On option might be to change your server settings.ini-file according to what is described here:

Basically setting a larger number for this setting:

RowLimitForCsvInsteadOfXls=65500
