      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what is difference between to_char(START_DATE + 1,'IYYYIW') and &lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;to_char(START_DATE + 1,'YYYYWW').&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;because when i have used first expression it will give like 201508 and second one will give 201507.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;Please explain how IYYYIW is different from YYYYWW ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

These are not QlikView or Qlik Sense functions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are talking about Oracle to_char(), there are important differences:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IYYY format uses the ISO standard and IW returns the week of the year from 1 to 53 based on the ISO, while WW returns a value between 1 and 52 (see &lt;A href="http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/sql_elements004.htm#i34510" title="http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/sql_elements004.htm#i34510"&gt;Format Models&lt;/A&gt; from the Oracle Docs reference).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They are similar to what you can achieve using Week() and YearWeek() in QlikView (&lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/qlik-blogpost/3545"&gt;Redefining the Week Numbers&lt;/A&gt; by &lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/qlik-users/4003"&gt;Henric Cronström&lt;/A&gt; is a must)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Miguel&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
