Font issue on server

Hi,

In my application I am using Futura font which is a standard in my company. This font is also installed on Qlik server but we are facing discrepancies wherein some users see right font and some users don't see right font and see Arial/Times New Roman.

All the users are on IE 9.0.

Any thoughts what is causing this issue? Having fonts installed on local desktop does it make any difference?

I would ensure the fonts are installed on all local desktops.

Thanks Bill.

I was under impression if font is installed on server then it should work well as its difficult to ensure whether font is installed on each and everyone's system.

Thats what I am going to try now.

I am pretty sure that Web Browser renders the font locally and the Web server just sends html.

That is why I always use very standard fonts like Arial & Tahoma.
