I have a similar requirement to implement.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I am setting up some report bursting using QlikView Server. We have a huge list (stored in a relational database) of users we are currently sending reports to using a different product.

What I would like to be able to do is send reports to these users without manually adding each user in the Enterprise Manager.

Ideally, I could create a file with all of our users and load that into QlikView Server as a Custom Directory. I did some searching and was able to find a little information about XML based Directory Services (not related to QlikView). Also, on page 148 of the version 9 Server Reference Manual, there is a screenshot showing an XML file storing Users and Groups. When I go into the Enterprise Manager, I do not see this option.

Does anyone have experience with Custom Directories on QlikView Server? Is it possible to use a file for this purpose? Any ideas why I don't have the Storage section on the Users tab in the Enterprise Manager (as seen on page 146)?

Thank you!
