Hi,

What are the steps involved in qlikview project development from start? I mean from which phase we have to start our application development ?

I'm sure the steps to project_development are standardized - in a multitude of diffferent ways, depending on which method your company believes in ...

Rgd. QlikView, the steps to follow, in rough form, are

- Meet and learn exactly what you/ the users want (best to have it in written form with everyone's signature)

- what data they want to see

- in what form they want it (roughly)

- Learn what data you need and where it must come from

- Learn how you can access the data

- Write the QlikView_script to read the data

- Build the front_end of your QlikView_ápp to display it.

Ideally, these steps should be distributed between at least 2 people, 1 developer and 1 designer (who does the frontend, staying in close contact with the end_user to make sure they build what the users want)

=> Once you have that, you can assign a QlikView_licence (make sure to have that documented in some way) and
you should make sure that the users really can access the app and know how to view it

=> When all that is done, you can regard the project as finished (but for maintenance and continuous improvement of
the app)
