Creating executable file automatically from Qlikview file

I'm using Qlikview v11.20.12235.0 SR5 x64 on Windows 7 and this version allows me to generate a standalone exe from a qvw file.

I already have a fully working script that loads my qvw file, runs the script automatically, and closes qlikview after generating and exporting the report I need.

Is there a way to have a script that runs and loads the qwv file, generates the report, and generates automatically the standalone exe?

Is there is, could someone please tell me how?

How exactly do you use QlikView Desktop to generate a stand-alone exe from a QVW document?

There is an option for that in Qlikview, if I go to Tools > Create Executable

Well, I don't have it in QV Desktop (any SR). Did you add it yourself?

Looks like it wasn't like this before, it was accessible to all before.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up. This feature is very useful and it would be useful for me to execute it the way I needed. I will check this.

I'm pretty sure it is possible by using a vbscript.

You mean by calling a (hidden) API function that does all the hard work? Any idea what its name would be?

Nope! It's not necessary to be hidden. A script or macro can do that, as it if was a user.
