Hi All,

Thank you in advance for your help.

We're having an issue with a dashboard that has one Pivot Table Chart with three dimensions (Sales Mgr, Sales Rep, and Month) and several expressions. The pivot table has the first two dimensions on the y axis (as rows) and Month pivoted out on top (on the x-axis) as columns. Strangely, there are many users to the report, and a small minority of them do not see the Month dimension when they open the dashboard (and then see inflated / distorted expression results).

Other things to note:

Section Access is implemented, but is not restricting on the Month field

We've testing people with the same section access where one person sees the issue and one doesn't

There are no conditions to enable the dimension (it always is enabled)

Locally, all the fields appear normal (even with users who saw the issue in the access point)

We have multiple access points (test, prod, etc). The same user was able to see the issue in one access point, but see it correctly in the other access points with the same version of the files and a reload time that was only 20 min difference

Any ideas what to troubleshoot on what may be causing this?

Thanks,

Andy

There were a couple bugs like that fixed in SR7. What SR are you using?

-Rob

Hi Rob,

We just updated from SR9 to SR10. I ended up deleting the object and rebuilding it, and it seems to have solved the issue.

Thanks for your help.

Andy
