Hi Shweta,

If no. of records are very large, go for concatenation.

For expressions to work across tables via link will be performance intensive.

However if its a small dashboard, both are valid ways and it will not make a difference.

You can use what your design permits.

Hi,

Concatenation is better option rather than linktables and if you have single or two three fields are common then create the link tables for the tables.

While creating the concatenation of the tables us Table flag

load *,'Tab1' as TableFlag From Source1;

Concatenate

load *,'Tab2' as TableFlag From Source1;

If the data volume is not very huge then use linktable since the data model will be more clear in the front-end.
