Hi All,

I just started exploring the qlikview.

I need to present all about the tool to my client.Because they are really interested in it.

I am looking for client server architecture overview of QlikView.

Can any one provide me some document about the same,it should be more on technical details because my client already using some BI tool and they wanted to know about the technical details like qlikview client server architecture .

Hello

I think the best way for you to learn the qlikview is to use the examples and the documentation which is provided on this website.There is no concept of client /server as far as data is converned, The qlikview application keeps the whole data on the ram.There are some old threads where they already discussed these please try to lookinto the old threads.

The QVS reference manual may have the level of detail you need. Have you checked it out?

I checked the QVS but I never found any authorized architechture diagram.

I found this above diagram from some site but it belongs to version 7 but I am looking for the version 9

Thank u so much Raghu for ur help. But actaully I am new to QlikView so I am unable to understand how to run ur sample example.

Basically, I am java devloper and interested in generating reports through QlikView.

Please guide me, how can i start devloping qlik reports and can access those reports through my java code.

I would be grateful to u for the same.

If you want to start Qlikview, best source is Qlikvew Reference manual. Other sources are look at the Blogs. You can see lot of examples in the "Share qlikviews" at the menu.
