topic order date list box in QlikView

order date list box

Hi,

i'm trying to load table file from xls containing several date(about 7000).

I create a list box and i want to arrange date correctly(from past to present)

I tried changing sort option with sort by, but doesn't work properly(see attached qvw file)

Can anyone suggest any solution?

Hi,

Use this code in the script and sort the field by number from sort tab.

date(date#(DATE,'DD/MM/YYY'),'DD/MM/YYY') as DATE

HI Diego,

change your load script into:


LOAD DATE(DATE) AS DATE
FROM  (biff, embedded labels, table is Sheet1$);

Then it should work (see attachment)

I 've tried to write this code in the script

LOAD date(date#(DATE,'DD/MM/YYY'),'DD/MM/YYY') as DATE

But i get no data or error.
