I am new to QV. But my company likes to test QV on SAP. What is the cheapest way to get an access to SAP so that I can conduct connector testing, pull some data and create a demo?

1. Get trail verison of SAP. Install it on a VM Server.

2. Get evaluation version of QV. Install it on your laptop.

3. Download QlikView SAP Connector. Install it on your laptop.

4. Get an evaluation key from QLikTech (or their partners) for SAP Connector.

5. Start extracting data and playing with it in QV.

Hi Rakesh,

There are no tables like kna1, bseg etc. in the sap trial version. in 'SE 16' it says 'KNA1 is not active in the system'. I already have QV licensed version on my machine. I downloaded the connector information from the QV site. I don't understand step #4.

This is correct. The trial version does not have any modules and their tables. For testing you can connect with so basis tables, like user master, etc. I would say run DB02 and find out big tables you have in the system and download them into QV.

#4 is when you use use SAP Connector in QV and download data from SAP into QV. Then you can start putting tables/charts already.
