Hi we get the following Error Messages:

We have our license file on the server and we upgraded to a new server with a new address.

Where are the connection settings of the client?

If you want to lease a license from your Qlikview Server for your Qlikview Desktop installation then connect to the Qlikview Server using the Open in Server option from the File menu. Add a new connection to the Qlikview Server by entering qvp://ServerNameHere in the Server input box and clicking the Connect button. Replace ServerNameHere with the name of your Qlikview Server.

Use License Lease for the server.open the application in server and use License lease

get license lease from server

take path from manager >open qlikview>click on open inserver>paste that path >click on connect

so that u can away from that error

Yes i can open a file but can not edit the script of the file.

in this case they may be restricted to access the script .

We do not want License Lease. The license are assigned to specific users.

No it is at all files and I created the scripts.

while we are giving to end user at that time we are going to uncheck the edit script button

so pls goto document properties>security(pls check here once whther permission is there or not)

check edit script optiion then u can able to access script

Tested. Access to document properties is not possible.

i have no idea regarding this but better try with shortcut key like

press ctrl+alt+D

To activate the License Lease solved the problem. Strangely enough, it worked weeks without this setting.
