Initiating a Macro on Input

Hi,

I'm new to qlikview macro.I was wondering if there is a way to initiate a macro when an inputfield is changed.Please note that the input field i'm mentioning here is not an usual input box but a complete field.

I am not sure I understood what you mean by "not an usual input box but a complete field", but for InputField you would have a variable defined. You can always set "on change" of that variable (under Settings -> Document Properties -> Macros. Hopefully I answered what you are looking for.

Input Box is something that we create as a sheet object.But by Input field i mean to say that we can create an instance of any of the fields in a table from a Database that we connect from Qlikview as Inputfields and later use them in straight table,by doing so we can edit the data of any cell of inputfield created.Now,i dont see any variable defined for these input fields!So i'm trying to figure out a way to initiate a macro after editing any of the cells of the inputfield.

Got it. No, I don't think it triggers any event. I would be interested to know this as well, just for my learning.
