Hi Community,

We use variables to identify a currently highlighted tab and sub tab.

The variables are marked to be saved with book marks.

Before these were marked to save as bookmarks, when we recover the session. The tab, subtab variables will not be initialized. This will result in non highlighting of the tab and subtab.

As a fix we have variables to be saved with book marks.

On session recovery the tabs highlight back well now. Thats solved. (Session recovery uses a temp bookmark in the background)

The new issue we have is, whatever bookmark we make now the tab subtab variables get stored as well.

If I go to any tab and apply the bookmark, the tab and subtab value that was saved comes back and the tabs get highlighted.

This is something that we do not want. Only during session recovery the last highlighted tab and sub tab should come back.

Is there a way out on this?

thanks,

Rajesh Vaswani

That's an interesting problem. I think the solution may be to use island fields instead of variables to maintain these switches.

-Rob

The field will get cleared.

Can you shed more light on this?

regards,

Rajesh Vaswani
