Hi,

To assign Named CALs :

Go to QMC --> System Tab --> License menu--> Click on Qlikview Sever --> Select "Client Access Licenses (CALs)" tab

There you can add Named user licenses,By specifying in the form DOMAIN\USERNAME the users in your domain you want to have a Named CAL assigned to them.

To assign a Document CAL:

Go to QMC --> Documents --> click on the document you want the users to access --> Select a "Document CALs" tab

There you can add Document user licenses,By specifying in the form DOMAIN\USERNAME the users in your domain you want to have a Document CAL assigned to them.

Hi neeta,

Document cal assign in documents tab in source documents or user documents

Go to QMC --> Documents --> (source doc/User Doc) click on the document you want the users to access --> Select a "Document CALs" tab

Never in Source Documents-tab, always in User Documents-tab. Whether you have a Publisher or not.
