    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi All&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am facing an issue in the following scenario can any one guide me,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I Have Two tables ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One is having Fields like EmployeeID,Period&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Second is having Employee ID ,Cost&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;now I Want to calculate Principle amount in second table period wise, like&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;count(&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;EmployeeID&lt;/SPAN&gt;)*AVG(&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;"&gt;Cost&lt;/SPAN&gt;)[ here count(employee count is for Period)] how to do this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;QlikView will do it for you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure that the two tables connect (change one of the EMployeeID fields tro match the other). Then create a straight table, add a single Dimension Period and an expression &lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'courier new', courier;"&gt;=count(DISTINCT EmployeeID) * avg(cost)&lt;/SPAN&gt; or simply &lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'courier new', courier;"&gt;=sum(cost)&lt;/SPAN&gt; which is essentially the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
