Because generally, yes, it should calculate the Count() as if there was only one dimension (Category) in the table. See the attached example, as you can see it does ignore Issue as a dimension. But if you select a single Issue, that will still influence the result.</P><P></P><P>If you want to ignore the selection, you need set analysis. If you need to ignore both selection and dimension, you use both.
