Creating an action on the toolbar clear button

Hi All,

Is it possible to add an action on the click of the clear button present in the toolbar.

I wish to remain a field value always selected on a particular sheet even if the clear button is clicked. I have added the action of Select In Field in the clear button(button object). But if users clear the selections from the toolbar, then all the selections are lost. Is there a way by which we can add this action even in the toolbar clear button.

I think you couldn't (easily) extend these toolbar-button to further actions but you could hide these toolbar per extension:

Document Extension Solution to hide buttons on the AJAX toolbar...and anything else

But in your case a better solution could be to lock this field.

Indeed, I would also opt for a 'lock', eventually on a sheet that is not visible to your users.
