I’ve read several posts on Master Calendars, but I guess I’m still not getting it, because I have what should be an easy question.

I have 3 tables, each with their own date (example: Sale Date, Return Date, Exchange Date). Currently they are joined to a hierarchy table based on Employee_ID. I want to create a filter so a user can select Year/Month/Qtr/Date and have the selected date apply to all three tables. For example: If the user selects March 2014, I want to see all the Sales, Returns and Exchanges that occurred in that month/year.

I see how to create a calendar for each table, but I’m not clear on how to create a calendar that will work as described above. Can you please point me to the correct post/blog or describe how to do this?

Thank you! Dan
