Hi

Would like to hear few answers from the experts.....

My QVS server going down frequently..Qlikview v11.2 server

1) I don't see much in the server log files for the error Event ID: 100

2) When we open few applications, the ram is being used highly ...for no reason. (app size is hardly 400 MB)

3) When the server goes down, we have to restart the services manually, even though it has set to Automatic in the services

4) .In some cases the error log says that Qlikview is corrupt, but I didn't see anything wrong in the app or server.. as these are running fine.

5)In which cases, these services go down...and how to perform the root cause analysis, what needs to be checked first.

Note: I know that if server runs low on memory, the services would go down, but the problem here is we have enough RAM.. please suggest

Regards

John

Hi John,

Make sure you have the QVS debugging set to High. They in the log you can look at the second column in the event log and that is the time of the last restart. Scroll down until you see the time change and look in that area for why.

Bill
