Detach some charts

I have some charts on a sheet which show KPIs and I don't want them to be affected by any selections made on the sheet. I was hoping to detach them each time the sheet is activated/opened.

Is this possible? Or is there a different way to achieve the same thing ?

Hi ,

You have two options,

1.Right click on the chart and detach.

2.Impose alternate state on the chart which don't need to change according to the selection

Hi,

In your expression just give 1 like below

=Sum({1} Sales)

=Sum({1<SomeDimension={Some Values}>} Sales)

Hi,

Detach is not a good option everytime when you reload Detach option will be gone. Instead you can bypass the selections by giving 1 in set analysis

=Sum({1} Sales)

=Sum({1<SomeDimension={Some Values}>} Sales)

Can you please explain the second one in detail? how do you impose a alternate for not selecting?
