conditional checkbox in Expression

Can anybody explain with an example how to use the condtional checkbox in Expression tab? I normally write the condition and aggregation function in the definition tab but like to understand how to use the conditional box as well.

Conditional checkbox is used for when you have multiple expressions and you don't want to show all the expressions, due to any number of reasons, and want to display some of them based on a certain condition being met. You can use variable/buttons to set conditions or you can use list box selections condition.

Example

Data set

Field1	Field2
Ravenue	100
Cost	200
Depraciation	300

Based on this condition the Expression will be only visible if the total for Field 2 will be greater than 500
