Hi,

I'm wondering whether QV has any simulation functionalities like MS Excel, meaning

- I will have one cell where I type in data and other cells will recalculate. I can imagine having a field where I type In sales volume, another field where I type in unit margin and the automated calculation field would be absolute profit.

- Or, I change one parameter (e.g. sales volume) and all other parameters are automatically calculated - and the source data comes from the database

Is it possible to create such spreadsheets but seeding data from a larger number of fields?

Many thanks

CP

Hi,

You could use an input box. The data can be entered in the input box which would save the entered value in a variable and this variable can then be used in the calculation for other fields.

Regards,

Greeshma

you can use Greeshma solution and also you can go for dynamic update if you want to store edited values to database as well for future use.

Thanks

BKC
