      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) For QMC:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You have to use a security group in Active Directory called "QlikView Administrators". Make a AD-user a member of this group and then this user will have access to QMC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As the "QlikView Server Reference Manual END.pdf" (QlikView 11.20 SR11)&amp;nbsp; states on page 58:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Security Groups&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;When installing QlikView Server/Publisher, a couple of security groups are created.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The QlikView Server/Publisher services must run under an account that is member of the security group QlikView Administrators. &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Users connecting to QMC must be part of this group.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt; Anyone connecting to a remote service must also be member of QlikView Administrators.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) For server-users - normal document/application users:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Granting access to users for the server is done by the QlikView Administrators via AD-groups (preferrably) or individual AD-user names using the QMC to assign it. So this is a combination of both AD-groups and AD-users or just AD-users.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
