      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hell All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have all month,quarter,week,year previously calculated from etl side.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;moreover one of dimension holds all possible years and date so I could not find any need to create calendar now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Moreover all data on dashboard is in proper format without any problem,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you please suggest in which scenario we need to create separate calendar table and which scenario there is no need to create it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

There is no specific need to make this a separate table, compared to merging the calendar fields into the fact or dimension table. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This blog post might give you an idea of a scenario where calendar tables can make sense. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/qlik-blogpost/2802"&gt;The Master Calendar&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
