Preload option in qlikview server

Even after enabling the preload option in qlikview server to always the first user is experiencing delay in opening the report and navigating between the tabs.

What needs to be done to over come this problem?

The size of the report is around 290 Mb.The qlikview file has been optimized in the script to a big extent . Unwanted joins has been removed .

Please suggest what needs to be done in this case so that even the first user will be able to access the reports faster

Have you enable the AutoLoad in both the Source Documents > select your document > Server > Performance Tabs as well at the QlikView Server > select your server > Performance tabs?

Yes option is enabled (auto enabled) in qlikview server .

But even then for the first user there is a delay in accessing the report

When you go to QMC > Status > QVS Statistics do you see the Document loaded (Do this before any user accesses it)?

If it is already loaded how often do you update reload the Document. Ie Could the user be having to get a new version of the Document.

How to check the document is loaded in QVS Statistics ?

regarding reloading the document , it is done twice a month .Document is refreshed twice a month

Hi Sriram,

You can have the document accessed at your support once before business starts on business days.

This can be as a workaround for now. Please post here when you find a solution.

Is this the only option left for accessing the document. Let me check with the business users on the accessing the report end .
