Alternate Drill-Downs?

Hello - I am a Qlikview newbie and have gotten a lot out of this forum. One question I have which I can't seem to find an answer to is if Qlikview supports alternate drill-downs on drill-down groups.

For example you create a drill down group on a standard calendar dimension, say year - quarter - month - day. Drilling down on a chart is not a problem from level to level but what if the users want to go from year to month ... displaying ALL months not the three you would going to down the traditional drill path. In Cognos this is called an alternate drill-down.

Any suggestions on how I technicially can do this, either via modeling or within a sheet objects properties?

Thanks in advance

You can use cyclic groups for this purpose. You can group Year, Quarter, Month, date to one cyclic group. Use the circular arrow at the bottom of the chart to switch between the levels without selecting the values in the chart.
