SpeedUp AS400 Connection

Hi all, is there a way to speedup AS400 data loading?

We've recently moved to a new infrastructure but it seems there has been a performance degradation even if all the infrastructure (net, file transfer speed, qlik sever etc...) is very fast.

Here are some informations:

NEW SERVER (slower)

1) QV server version: 11.20.12904.0

2) I transfer data using ODBC, iSeries driver version 13.64.06 - 06/05/2012

3) ping to AS server: min -> 1ms, max -> 3ms

4) about 800.000 rows for 103 fields

5) time spent to get data: about 2 hours

6) 32GB RAM, 4 cores

OLD SERVER (faster)

1) QV server version: 11.20.12742.0

2) I transfer data using ODBC, iSeries driver version 13.64.06 - 06/05/2012

3) ping to AS server: min -> 5ms, max -> 8ms

4) about 1:30 hours to get about 2.000.000 of rows from the same table

5) 16GB RAM, 4 cores

The ODBC driver is configured in the same way.

OLEDB connection didn't solved the problem.

Can you please tell me a way to configure ODBC or a trick to improve data loading performance?
