Dashboard not Responding on Adding cyclic group

Hi All,

We are facing a problem ina dashboard. the size of the dashboard is arounf 1 MB. On adding a cyclic group(Year, month, quarter, week etc) the dashboard becomes not responding. We couldnt find the reason behind that. Does anyone know what could be the reason.

Hi Saritha,

could it be that you have pressed Ctrl+Sh+S? That makes all objects visible, overriding visibility_conditions. I don't know if that has any influence on cyclic groups, but it did happen to me a number of times (the easiest way to catch this error is adding a little textbox somewhere with the visibility_condition > 1=2 < - that way, it will only be visible if you pressed that combination.

Worth a shot, no?

Thanks for your suggession, but that dint help me. there is no issue with the visibility. the hanging issue arise on adding htis Cyclic group. Otherwise itz working fine.

Could be a problem with associations between the other date fields and the metric data in your model.

by looking ur dimensions..one thing i understood....why can't u create drill-down group instued of cyclic group,because ur dimensions objects are in sequence not in cyclic.

can u try tht?
