Is QlikView 8 available for download any where? My QlikView 8 license has expired and im not able to recover my documents and move it to QlikView 9.

QlikView 8 can be downloaded in the usual download URL : www.qlik.com/download

BUT available versions will depends on your account "type" :

- As a Partner I see every existing versions of all documents.

- As an "Anonymous" account, I see only the last V9 version

I guess you are a customer (intermediate rights), so maybe you can download older version is you sign in as a customer. If not, ask QlikTech or your local Qliktech's Partner.

Anyway, I don't understand why do you need to download this file ? To open a qvw in V8 with the V9 version. Just install the V9 version and open the qvw file.

i cant open my document in QV9. I get this message.

You will need a license to open a QVW created by another user. If you have very do a open in server(from the QlikView client) and you can borrow a license from the server if you have user Cals.
