Animation without showing the trail

Hi all,

I'd like to create a scatter chart with animation effect. I use [Year] as first dimension. However, when I click 'Play', it keeps the trail as it moves to show where it has been. But what I want is just two dots (red and blue) move from the beginning to the end (trail points are not necessary). Is it possible? Could anyone give me a favor? Thanks in advance!

Did you ever find the solution to this? I have the same problem and I can't figure out how to remove the trail.

I was wondering whether it has anything to do with the latest version?

You can't do this in qlikview

But the training videos all show it? So how is it not possible?

Hi there

I have been informed that this is a behavior change in SR12. Prior to SR12, there was no ‘trace’.

We are trying to find a way to turn off the trace.

Hi, has anyone figured out how to turn the trace off yet? Really annoying problem which ruins the whole chart.

Hi Christian

I received information from our local support people that this behaviour was specifically changes in SR12. Prior to SR12 there was no trace. Due to the fact that there was no specific client issue, I was just investigating for myself, they said the status of the enquiry would not be high. If you have a specific client enquiry, I suggest you raise it with your support people, maybe they can highlight it to the relevant team for it to be changed.
