Missing data on the report

I have the below tables. I need to create a pivot showing the products sold by months for the selected Quarter and Category. If there is no data for a combination, it should still show the Product and the month with 0. My problem is, if I select show all values, it is displaying products for all categories. I need to show all the products and all months for only the selected Q and Category. Appreciate your help.

Could you please tell me if there is a key field between the 2 tables?
Could you post an example of the expected results?

in order to get the report based on some calendar, we should have a join between the main table and calendar.

If not we can not drill down based on calendar quarter.

I have all the joins... my problem is the user wants to see all the Products for the selected Category and all months for the selected quarter even if there is no data for that combination. In the below table, there are no records for Cell Phones and the month March. Still it should appear on the report. If I check, "Show All Values", then it is displaying all products for all categories.

I think you need to post your qvw or a representative sample. I think there may be a problem with your data model and/or your calendar.
