Which users captured by Session log file

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone help me in understanding the session log files my issue is I want to capture ids for QMC, Development and Access Point in the application which I developed It is showing the ids for users access Access Point it is not showing the ids which are used for Development and QMC.

Hi,

try using OSUser(), but this will show the ID from which the QV services are being run.

Session Logs just logs the id's of user using accesspoint only.

You can use Qlikview Governance dashboard to monitor users activity.

The ID from which the document was created is not logged any where by Qlikview.

If you need that then you have to maintain the data separately in an excel.

Can you please explain what output you require and the type of analysis that you are required to do?

I don't think Session Logs will capture QMC user information. This will track information of users who access the application from Server. In case of development, if user is leasing a license from server then that will be recorded with same login which is been used to assign Named CAL.

Hi Ferha,

You can captured through session logs- who accessed dashboard, when he logged in and logout time, which user, what cal assigned to this user.

please let me know if you required to create an application for the session log to view in detail in a straight table, i can provide the code you can create application how you want.
