How To decide which Data Model should use

Hi,

I am very new to Qlik view and recently started development in it. Most development which I did so far are by bringing all data into one table (i.e Single Table Data Model) by Left joining or inner join. But when I saw the most complex development then I came to know all developers are used Star Schema or Snowflake data models.

My main problem is I am not able to decide which Data Model I should use at the time of development..How to decide? Is their any specif way to take a decision on Data Model which suits our requirement ? which factors needs to take into consideration while choosing data model ?

Can any one help me in this..so I can take a decision at the time of development.
