How are they being stored if they can be recovered? Also I played with dynamic updates which allow for user inputs. None of them seem to be working with SR7 on the server. Any tips and tricks or helpful suggestions are welcomed.

Input fields values are stored per user in the .shared file. The values that one users inputs are only available to that user.

...or are you talking about variables that are changed using input boxes?

Can we store them on the AJAX client as well? The desktop client works for me on the server. Also which version of the server is this working on? I am specifically interested in input fields.

Hi,

Yes, the input fields can be stored on the server in the .share file. However, be aware that the .share will grow very large over time and will cause you issues.

From the release notes:

A document with input fields will create a .shared file when it is opened on an Accesspoint. Due

to underlying data structures, the .shared file will grow with an average of 50-80 bytes/input

field value when the input field value is changed.

Bill

if you mean saving the value of the input field on the server accessible to all users then no. it will only be available to the user who entered the value.

Any QMC settings to make the input fields saved on the server(AjAX Client). They do not work for me. Thanks.
