Qlikview is not a tool designed for data entry - while you could ram the round peg of Qlikview into the square hole of data entry, the best you could hope for would be a clunky, unreliable and inefficient solution. My advice is, don't do it.

Some thing similar to your requirement can be done using Dynamic Data Option in QlikView.

Refer to the below thread

How to use Dynamic update action in QV 11

It might be useful, but the issue was that.

1. it should be enabled in both qlikview client and server as well.

2. User should be part of QlikView administrator

Hi Jonathan,

What you said is correct, but we have one requirement is that in access point while accessing the dashboard.

If user identified any bug/issue then and there he want to add a note

So advised to use add notes option in qlikview access point.

But, added comments should be displayed in a table format having some columns like username, date, sheet name and comments.

So in that case opted for dynamic data update but our platform team was not ready to enable that option.

Other than than as suggested by you, we should not use qlikview as an CRM system to add data and store in to DB
