Can not connect to database in debug mode QV 12

Hello,

I have upgraded my QV to QV 12 and i'm getting an error connecting in debug mode from script.

The error description is: Invalid window handle.

Anyone can help me?

I have not experienced this problem. Can you provide a bit more detail?

1. ODBC or OLEDB

2. What database type.

3. Force 32bit?

Hi Rob,

in my case:

- ODBC

- Oracle

- no Force 32bit

Reload works fine, debug mode not.

Hi,

i'm using ODBC

the computer is 64bit

I have an ODBC driver named "XXXX" and i'm connecting as:

Call Conecta("XXXX"). i have a function to open conexion.

But it only failled when i'm debugging script.

Excatly same issue here with a 64-bit access to a MySQL database.

OS on Windows 10, QV 12.0.200000.0 64-bit Edition

Hi All,

When i am trying to connect to "Oracle" data base through ODBC connection every time i am getting some warning error and QV is going to not responding mode.

Data base:Oracle

Connection:ODBC

Qilikview:12

Windows server 12 64 bit.

Force 32 bit unchecked.

Please find attached screenshot for more clarification and give me some suggestions.

That did the trick for me.

I'm on a Personal Edition and searching for an update through the program itself did not show any newer version. Downloading Qlikview again and installing this over the existing installation upgraded it and now it works.
