Hi;

How do l put a visual cue on a text box? I want my text box to be green if the result is greater than or equal to the target and red if the result from my calculation is less than our target.

My second question is, my model looks a bit unprofessional because my objects are not aligned and some are bigger than others. Is there a quicker way of fixing the cosmetics of a model?

Please see attached.

Regards;

Moses

Change the background color of the text box from Fixed to Calculated and enter an expression to calculate the color. Something like: =If( MyResult > MyTarget, lightgreen(), lightred()). Replace MyResult and MyTarget with the appropriate values or expressions.

You can try enabling the grid to help align objects or use a grid background image. And if you haven't read Information Dashboard Design by Stephen Few, please do so as soon as you can. Your dashboard can be improved upon. Stephen Few's book will teach you how to make the most of it.
