Requirement for text box with hierarchical data

Hi I have the following straight table data when I select one of the suppliers MMM, the following is the requirement which must be accomplished in textbox.

1. Compare average Product savings % and Best Savings from Top 5 competitors in the same Product

2. Choose the higher % savings from 1

If average Product savings % = Best savings from top 5 competitors in the same Product then use average Product savings %

Here is the explanation

For the selected supplier there are four products associated, so requirement is, the above two lines should be executed for the four products in a text box, is this possible.

Hi Settu,

The data which I have given is the associated data when I select a supplier MMM and if you see it is having 4 products associated and the text box should have the two points executed for the suppliers each product , what you have achieved is on the whole but I am trying for each product.

Hi Kush,

When I select a supplier, my straight table will show selected supplier plus top 4 suppliers, and in the text box I have some bullets that must be evaluated to each product and its suppliers. for eg

1. Compare average product savings % and Best Savings from Top 5 competitors in the same product

for product CA: average product savings is 0.68% and Best supplier savings is 0.69%

2. Choose the higher % savings from 1

If average product savings % = Best savings from top 5 competitors in the same product then use average product savings % and script

for Product CA average product savings = 0.68% and Best savings from top 5 suppliers with in CA is 0.69

if 0.68% = 0.69% then I have something to do

...

So I my doubt is I have nearly six such conditions which must be executed for each product under the selected supplier , is this possible in text box.

Hello,

I think it will be very difficult to display Results for each product in Text box specially when supplier is selected. May be some expert can give some idea. But I have done something for you and hope it will be helpful.

There is two Option

1) Either you display the results in Straight table or

2) You have to select the Product from list box to display the results in Text object

We already implemented a straight table for this , apart from this the customer is expecting this requirement.
