Transfer state to open QV Docs not working?

Hi all,

So I have two QV Docs A and B that are both in the server. Document A has a button with the following setup:

This works properly using browser but not QlikView Desktop.

Like if I have Document A open in Qlikview Desktop (Open in Server), make selections and click the button, Document B will be opened with the selections (state) from Document A.

But if I switch back to document A and change selections and click the button again, the selections in Document B won't change.

I tried checking the "Apply state on top of current" and it still does not work.

Workaround right now is to close Document B everytime.

Is this a current known issue? Is there a proper way to handle this?
