Hi All,

Can you please give me an information about the qlikview beta version.What exactly is the beta version and what is the difference between Qlikview 11 and beta version.

Deepak,

Prior releasing any new version of the software, they(Qliktech here) a piece of software that is made available for testing typically by a limited number of users outside the company that is developing it which is called Beta version(Eg., Qlikview 11 Beta). Once it is successful, then they release general release(Eg. Qlikview 11).

After the general release, when user starts using it and they found or report any bugs, it will be sent to the company and they will fix it in their next service release eg.,(SR 11.1,SR11.2 etc.,)

If the company enhances the product with some addition features, then they will release beta release prior General release.
