Hi,

I am very new to Qlikview and I hav ethe following requirement.

I naeed to create two different charts. I the cahrt I need to show the following details: Chart1: users by Team Chart 2: Users by Country.

Method: minimzing one maximizes the other one.

Could you please help me to find where this option can be found.

Hi,

This option can be found in the Caption tab in Properties of the chart. Check the Maximize,Minimize and Auto minimize options.

Perhaps you could just use 1 chart with the dimension a cyclic group containing Team and Country.

Agree with Johan, in this case you need to create cyclic group. Im new in qlikview, but i think it's best solution for that task.

Hi,

as Johan said to use one chart, you need to create a cyclic group.

Step 1:

Go to Document Properties -> Groups-> Add new Group (rename it) -> choose Cyclic-> then from the list select users by Team and Users by Country. Give ok.

Then in the chart, Select the cyclic group you created in dimension.

Hi nboddulu

All charts on the same tab that have "Auto minimize" checked are "linked" in the sense that only one of them will ever be opened at the same time. Double-clicking on any of the other "Auto minimized" charts will minimize the currently opened chart (if it has the "Auto minimize" property checked).

Hi,

I have selected 'Auto Minimise' option and double click on first chart it shows second chart. First chart gets minimised and will be seen on top middle portion of the tab. When I double click agian on 2nd chart, it also gets minimised and blank is seen instead of first chart.

The question here is how can I see first chart again instead of white blank area when I double click on second chart?

Please help.

You need to check auto minimize option for both charts, then double click.. hope this helps.
