I think this image is trying to show that a QlikView Consultant usually interacts with/receive application inputs from people such as Data Architects, Data Modelers, BI Analysts.... and so on to design an application which he then shares with his final user/customer who can also provide feedback to the consultant.

I think this is a very general workflow, but depending on your role, you may take more responsibility than designing the application. For instance, I am working as QlikView Developer where I write some ETL script in QlikView.

I think it is most likely that it explains that the QlikView Consultant unite all these roles in one person. That is certainly the case at between 95-98% of all the QlikView customers I have seen.

Hello shyamcharan,

I agree the document could show the interaction between the QlikView consultant and the other roles defined.

It also might be interpreted as the QlikView consultant being capable of fulfilling the other roles shown. In some projects, especially when performing agile development, the QV consultant might cover or supplement multiple areas of the entire SDLC.

Please find another slide that I had in the presentation.

This is about the Traditional Workflow and I understood the BI reports and dashboard development occurs at the final stage.

However, in contrast QlikView workflow is at every stage.

Furthermore, Can any one please explain the Data Quality Analyst role vs QlikView consultant role as shown in the QV Workflow diagram.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Being as a Qlik Developer our responsibility is to handle to whole as showed the image while you started working with client u came to know the structure,u have to design,datamodel,gather requirement,testing,server maintance its all your responsibility

QlikView consultant role:

QlikView consultant role is to fulfill the one or All roles shown first pic.

Hi Shyam,

The picture depicts the role of QlikView consultant who majorly focus on delivering the end dashboards to the clients. The role involves in interacting with different teams and understand the requirements, convert business problems into meaningful dashboards and regular interaction with data analysts, business analysts, ETL team,etc

Generally, Consultant is an independent worker who delivers dashboard alone and takes care of the development of qlikview dashboards.
