I am trying to send alert mail to my mail id from qlikview?could you please help me on this. i created alert it asked me if i want to send mail but after clicking yes, it does not send me mail

Hi!

Do you use public mail e.g. gmail or private mail?

If second then ask your system administrator or look into your mail client.

then look for "smtp gmail configuration" in web.

try Server.Address - smtp.gmail.com

Server.Port - 465

Autthentication Method - AUTH LOGIN

and fill your user id and password

Just to add to this thread, you may want to read this post and take a look at the example which shows how to embed many rows of data within the alert that is sent:
