error message is displaying like this unexpected (too old)? large file when i open the qlikview application please send any feed back i have tried to open in qlikview 9 also ..... its was in qlikview 8.5 developer file . but i tried in two ways....

We got the same thing on one file "Unexpected (too old?) file format" is the message. We contacted support, and they advised the file is corrupted.

Hi friend,

use the following step to recover your file.

1>Open the Qlikview not the application

2> go to the recent open document.

3>if the application is there than right click on it and try using reload without data.

We are doing an POC to show the power of QlikView to the decision makers. We have the same problem with QlikView 11.00.11282.0 SR1.

It is impossible to open the qvw file generated by another QlikView Application (with an evaluation licence) even with the help of an internal QlikView pre-sale.

Can anybody help us ?
