Hi all,

I have added my comments in the straight table field, my comments has 3 lines with bigger data, when make however on the field its not showing full comments on the field its showing only partial comments . please help to solve this.

Have you set the wrap cell text setting?

Can you provide a sample QVW or at least screen shots of what you're seeing?

Well, that's one of the imaginary limitations of QlikView: no scroll bars inside cells to provide access to the full comment. The alternative is always a tradeoff: either display more rows but fewer lines in each cell, or fewer rows that all have a fixed cell height of three or more lines. Possibly with nothing to show = wasted screen real estate.

However, there is one feature that might save your day: whenever a text value doesn't fit in a cell, hovering over such a cell will temporarily produce a tooltip that will show the complete text. Ok it's a compromise but most of the time it will be acceptable. There are other "compromises" but they're not as elegant as this one.

you can try with the text box and add your comments here and show it on a button click basis that should help you
