Print button on a document

Hi everyone,

I would like to put a button on one of my QV report which can print the document over the publishing on the server. As a further step of this I would like to make this automatically which can be triggered after reloading and send the email of pdf report automatically. Is this possible.

Hello,

There are a lots of posts existing around

- If you want to print the complete application please use the reports functionality (Menu / Reports).

- To export in PDF : the easiest way is to install a PDF printer (you can find one free on www.qlik.com/download)

and then print the object / sheet / reports : in V9 create a Buttons then use Actions / Print actions; in V8 use macros.

- To print automatically a reports in PDF and sending it by mail : there is a specific licence with V9 Publisher to do it

in V8 and previous, you have to use macros, you will find examples in "Share QlikView" part, and there are a lot of existing post in forums about that subject (please search PDF export Mail).
