Qlikview Licenses - Personal Edition

I am using Qlikview personal edition as I do not need to share my models, and it is only me that will be looking at models for the meantime as I grow my skills in Qlikview. I have created models but am now getting the below error message when I try to get into any of my models. Can anyone suggest how I can get back into my models without having to buy a license or is my only option to start again?

Would appreciate any feedback

You have also used up four recovery attempts. I am afraid that you have to start all over again if not buy a license.

Try loading application without data, so you should get back your script & design.

using Qlikview Personal addition you can work and open only the document created using your qlikview desktop on top of that qlikview will allow you to 3-4 documents created or edited by others ..if you exceed this you will be not allowed to open the documents developed by you ...you have to recreate it or buy licence

Hi,

you con't open this application because you updated more then four time. but you can read model by using binary load statement with another application.

I guess one option is there...create another user in your user profile and try to access QV personal edition. This may works!

Thanks, how would I do this? I just want to be able to view my script even if I cant get the models back?

A key is associated to the QV installation while being installed, that means it's not user specific but machine specific. Unfortuantely your workaround won't work.

May i know ,you require script or table assassination.

If you only require assassination take binary load that application.

You mean "how do I do a binary load"?

At the very first line of your script, type "binary filename.qvw" where filename.qvw is the path and name of the file you want to load the data model and data from.
